Production and distribution of spirulina in Sansanding (Mali). ANTENNA TECHNOLOGIES is a Swiss non-profit organisation, founded in 1989 with the aim of fighting malnutrition through the cultivation and distribution of spirulina. Antenna Technologies has already created many spirulina cultivation plants in Africa, India and South America. In 2007 the centre for the production and distribution of the Spirulina was accomplished in the rural communities of Sansanding (Sahel Region – Mali), totally financed by ALTA MANE. Spirulina is a micro-organism (blue-green algae) with a high content of easily assimilable proteins and micro-elements, used as an integrator in conditions of infantile malnutrition.
The project has been suspended due to unexpected local difficulties.
