Program Aura – Habitat (Barcelona – Spain) PROYECTE AURA, created in 1989, is a Spanish Foundation addressed at social integration and improving the life quality of young disabled people suffering from Down syndrome finding them jobs in the ordinary labour market. It provides courses in personal autonomy, professional training, work support within public and private companies, as well as facilitating accommodation for young disabled people together with university students in rented apartments. ALTA MANE supports the Aura – Habitat programme by covering the rental costs of a apartment for young disabled people for one full year.
