Centre for training and therapy: music and new technologies for psychological and mental alienation The CENTRO ESAGRAMMA opened 1999 in Milan, has a therapeutic and training programme that is unique in Europe, based on musical education as a means of support and therapy for psychological and mental alienation. It includes individual and orchestral music-therapy courses for children with serious psychological and mental problems (autism, cognitive delay, infantile psychosis), a great Symphonic Orchestra formed by the children attending the Centre and various training opportunities for aid workers.

From 2006 to 2008 ALTA MANE helped the Esagramma Centre to expand its musical programmes and training courses. In 2008, in particular, ALTA MANE helped to implement the Multi-Com project in 2008, which involved integrated musical, multimedia and cognitive interventions for children and young people with cognitive pathologies.
