Arts workshops at the facilities of the Ecole de Foramtion Agricole (EFA) in Ilheus (Brazil) TERRE DES HOMMES SUISSE is a non-profit organization established in 1960 to improve the life conditions of disadvantaged populations and to inform and increase awareness of the public opinion in Switzerland with respect to such problems.

In 2007 and 2008 ALTA MANE helped organize arts workshops on the premises of the Agricultural Training School in the city of Ilheus, which were attended by 120 young people from 16 rural communities in the southern region of the Bahia State, Brazil. The workshops focused on Afro culture, which represented the cultural background of 90 per cent of the students, with capoeira, traditional dance and drama.
