AxE' in Rome, international film Festival 2008
ALTA MANE promoted and supported the participation of “Projeto Axè” at the International Rome Film Festival 2008 within the section “An Eye on the World”, which was dedicated to Brazil.
On 24 October 2008, at the “Auditorium della Conciliazione in Rome”, there was a presentation of “Projeto Axè” by its founder, Cesare Florio la Rocca, followed by a concert of the chamber music group Ge.Ca. with Italian singer Fiorella Mannoia. At the end of the concert, the audience was shown the film “Cidade dos Homens” (City of Men) on the life conditions of young people living in the slums of Rio de Janeiro.
