Arts workshops at the facilities of the Ecole de Foramtion Agricole (EFA) in Ilheus (Brazil) TERRE DES HOMMES SUISSE is a non-profit organization established in 1960 to improve the life conditions of disadvantaged populations and to inform and increase awareness of the public opinion in Switzerland with respect to such problems. ALTA MANE contributed to the organization of arts workshops at the premises of the Agricultural Training School in the city of Ilheus, attended by 120 young people coming from 16 rural communities in the Southern region of Bahia. The workshops are focused on Afro culture, which is the cultural background of 90% of the students, with various activities including capoeira, traditional dances and theatre.
