In 2025, the Foundation has continuously and successfully directed its action towards the management and monitoring of the projects planned for the year, ensuring the proper functioning and maintaining steadiness between its dynamic philanthropic intervention and the safeguarding of its financial resources.  

More specifically, and with reference to its philanthropic intervention, in 2025, the Foundation has consolidated its support to multi-year projects in the “Art and Development” Sector, framed by impact evaluation studies (El Sistema Greece) and research studies (The Red Pencil Europe and RED NOSES International) to systemize, on the basis of scientific evidence, the best practices and initiatives arts-based; to ensure their replicability, sustainability and scaling in different contexts of social, health, and migratory vulnerability; and therefore, to maximize their impact on beneficiaries.

Such initiatives are encouraged and welcomed by the World Health Organization (WHO) and by the Jameel Arts & Health Lab, strategic Partners of RED NOSES International in the research project “Emergency Smile Research Project, 2025/2027”, also supported by Alta Mane.

In fact, both recognize the necessity and importance of understanding the science of the impact of art to improve the lives of people with different social and health vulnerabilities, and to ensure that the transformative benefits of the arts and art therapies are thoroughly evaluated, recognized, and systematically integrated into social, humanitarian, and health strategies, at the local and global level.

At the same time, the Foundation has strengthened its intervention in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Musicians Without Borders), in Greece (Greek Council for Refugees; RED NOSES International; The Red Pencil Europe), and in Switzerland (Save the Children Schweiz), while maintaining its support to different projects using art as a lever for social integration and as a tool for promoting mental health and psycho-emotional well-being, particularly among minors and unaccompanied minors who are in contexts of humanitarian crisis and forced migration.

In fine, in order to expand and consolidate its action in Europe, particularly in those countries most affected by migration (Greece and Spain), has launched new collaborations in the “Art and Social” Sector, diversifying its support, in Greece, in favor of women with a migration background, in situation of severe psycho-emotional and physical vulnerability, often victims of gender-based violence (Irida Women’s Center) and, in Spain, in favor of unaccompanied minors and/or minors and youth with a migration background fallen outside the State’s Protection and Welfare System (Save the Children España).

Regarding the co-partnerships, in 2025, the Foundation confirmed the suspension of the partnership agreements managed by Fondazione Alta Mane Italia (AMI), a decision already undertaken in 2019 and reiterated in 2020/2024.

In relation thereto, reminder is given that these are three-way contracts between Fondation Alta Mane, AMI and the beneficiaries (Partners), according to which:

• Alta Mane Italia supports the Partners during the start-up/implementation of their projects throughout varied and complex social or hospital conditions, monitoring and assessing the sustained activities as well as the future conditions of sustainability of the Partner;
• Fondation Alta Mane supports the aforementioned beneficiaries through donations preceded by the usual verifications.

The sector of intervention remains the use of art in situations of extreme social marginalization and hospitalization of young people due to serious pathologies.
