Activities
The association Nit Nitey Garabam has conducted numerous artistic workshops at Empire des Enfants, a temporary reception centre for street children in Dakar, with support from Fondation Alta Mane.
Beneficiaries
Five artists, coordinated by the famous glass painter Moussa Sakho, organised weekly drawing, glass paining and sculpture workshops with children and young people at Empire des Enfants.
Partner
The association Nit Nitey Garabam (meaning ‘Man is the remedy for man’ in Wolof) was established in 2005 by a group of Senegalese artists and psychiatric doctors to provide art therapy workshops for patients at the Principal psychiatric hospital in Dakar and in reception centres for street children.
