Alta Mane supported the creation of artistic workshops making special reference to African origins (capoeira, traditional dance, drama, wood sculpture) within the project run by Terres des Hommes (Switzerland) at the Escola Comunitaria Agricola Margarita Alves in Ilhéus, Brazil: a school programme (pedagogy of alternation) offering instruction in traditional subjects alongside professional training in the agricultural sector and creative activities.
