Objectives
The Foundation supported the strategic development plan of the non-profit association Axé Italia. The association raised funds in Italy in favour of Projeto Axè Brazil in Salvador de Bahia and spread the Pedagogy of Desire and Axé ArtEducation throughout Italian universities, local administrations and non-profit organizations via training courses, meetings and exchanges.

- Projeto Axé Brazil, working with the youth living in the favelas of Salvador de Bahia;
- Associations and NGOs working with socially marginalized youths in Italy and collaborating with universities, training centres and local administrations.
Activities
Since 2009, the Foundation has promoted and supported the start up and consolidation of structured activities aimed at raising awareness and funds in favour of Projeto Axé Brazil in Italy and circulating its Pedagogy of Desire and ArtEducation methodology in favor of marginalized youths. In order to reach these goals, Fondation Alta Mane covered Axé Italy administrative and operational costs as well as numerous parallel initiatives aimed at introducing Axé experience and results and spread the Pedagogy of Desire in Italy.
In 2015, Axé Italy inaugurated the Casa dell’ArtEducazione (the art-education house) in one of the neighborhoods at greater social risk in Milan. The centre was built in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan, the University of Turin and the support of Cariplo Foundation and Pro-Solidar.

This Association, founded in 2004 and renewed in 2009, aims to introduce the pedagogical project and methodology (Pedagogy of Desire and ArtEducation) of Projeto Axè Brazil in Italy. Furthermore, Axé Italy raises funds to allow Axé Brazil to continue receiving an even greater number of youths in its centre in Salvador de Bahia.
Information
Fondation Alta Mane supported Axé Italy from 2009 to 2015. Since 2015, Fondazione Alta Mane Italia supports the Casa dell’ArtEducazione in Milan.[/fusion_tab][/fusion_tabs]
