Fifth Edition of ORME Festival
The project in detail
Since 2015 ORME Festival is part of the Swiss network IntegrART, becoming the fourth international festival of the network, and aims to establish itself as a creative space where theatre and dance companies, made up of artists with and without disabilities, can express themselves and play.
The Fifth Edition of “ORME: Perché l’arte lascia un segno”, which took place in Lugano on May 30-June 2, 2019 at Teatro/Spazio Foce and Sala Teatro LAC (Lugano Arte e Cultura), led a reflection on the meaning of the words “diversity”, “fragility” and “dignity”. During the Festival 4 days, have been featured different dance and theatre performances chosen by ORME Festival, as well as some productions created by some international and national companies, selected by the artistic directors of the network IntegrART. Through different scenic ways, all the performances celebrate life in its diversity and led the public to reflect on disability in all its shapes: social, symbolic, philosophic and poetic.
